Supervise bargaining unit employees to ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and adherence to department policies and procedures
Ensures that all food production processes, dining room services, and sanitation practices meet all safety regulations
Oversees the service of meals to insure that the quality, portioning and procedures are correct
Responsible for customer service and positive customer relations
May prepare and adjust labor schedules insuring that all areas are properly staffed
Ensure that proper maintenance of equipment and facility
Involved with the administration of approved personnel procedures
Responsible for adhering to approved budgetary controls as well as for the financial stability of the unit
Maintains a professional and positive image at all times
Directly responsible for the operation of the entire dining unit(s) in the absence of the manager
Minimum -- High School Diploma/GED. Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous food service and supervisory experience required.
ServSafe certification (within 6 months in position)
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
