Summary:

The Project Sales Executive is based in the AJ Design Office- Dubai and reports to the General Manager. The position is responsible for identifying and selling Commercial / Retail & Corporate interiors and design solutions to existing and new clients as well as working as a key account manager to build long-term relationships with clients and partners.

Essential Functions:
Generate leads and sales opportunities to meet the company's Business and growth plans and the sales targets
Manage the communication with the clients, making sure all client requests/inquiries are well attended to.
Explore markets within UAE and in the wider GCC for business opportunities and develop quality leads that can be converted to profitable business.
Should have the competence to prepare the scope of work with respect to the clients / stakeholders requirement and to brief the same with the project team to establish the quotations/ BOQ.
Identifying and winning major fit-out projects, developing intimate knowledge of key accounts and responding quickly and effectively to tender.
Liaise with the design and execution teams throughout the process to make sure all client requirements are met. Negotiate agreements in coordination with the other departments and the senior management.
Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with financial, operational and project schedules.
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
Customize design solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and negotiating contracts
Report to the General Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results & tender/ongoing inquiries.
Coordinate with finance to follow up with clients on payments and ensure a steady cash flow for projects
Facilitate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, Clients and other project participants and stakeholders.

May perform administrative duties

Qualifications and experience:
A minimum of 2 years fit-out and interior design project sales experience preferably in interior works sector, commercial, residential & Hospitality projects in UAE.
Proven record of accomplishment within the interiors industry and experienced in dealing with clients.
Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion with minimal directions.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
Experience networking among the real estate development, construction companies and design/architecture community in Dubai or other UAE based clients will fall as a real advantage to the candidate.
Having an Interior Design background with Sales skills is an added advantage.
Mental Requirements:
Strong problem solving skills, with a bias to a sense of urgency

Computer Skills:
Computer skills are required including the ability to operate spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and e-mail at highly proficient levels

Certificates, Licenses:
UAE driving license is necessary.

Work Environment:
The incumbent is located in a busy office.

Travel/Other requirement:
Applicant must be willing to travel intensively, locally and outstation
