Document Control Associate
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Victor, NY
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary: The Document Control Associate will coordinate change control for all quality system documentation and maintain the appropriate databases and files for all.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Performs Preliminary Reviews for all quality-controlled documentation, which verifies clarity, accuracy of references to other documentation or standards, and formatting, as well as conformance to any specified templates.
Verifies that all documentation is current and notifies documentation owners when periodic reviews are required.
Maintains historical change control documentation and records.

Education & Experience:

4 years experience in document management using electronic document management systems or with manual systems using electronic document storage required.
The following education and/or combination of experience and education is also acceptable:
Associate degree or qualifying certificate plus 2 years experience
Bachelors degree

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch.
