Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
You may be asked to prepare detailed requisitions for electrical equipment and related materials as well as review supplier drawing submittals.
Building modifications comply with electrical code requirements and original design intent for the facility and your abilities to s upport cost estimating for electrical related scopes of work.
Assist Resident Engineer/ARE. Follow up construction activities at site.
Ensure the Contractorâs adherence to Construction documents and latest Authoritiesâ regulations.
Assist in reviewing Contractorâs Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).
Provide all necessary on-site direction.
Support in supervising site inspection staff as per Resident Engineer/AREâs directions.
Check measure of work done.
Observe site safety practices.
Report back as necessary to the Resident Engineer/ARE.
Monitor contractorâs resource allocation.
Assist in reviewing the projectâs close out documents.
Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer/ARE, and project Safety Representative.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
5+ years related work experience as an Electrical Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field) from an accredited institution
