AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this role will Think Big to develop the SMB segment, and Learn and Be Curious about the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across strategic accounts. As a trusted advisor, you will listen to our customers and help solve complex business transformation and growth challenges so they can focus on delivering optimal business results. Your role will include customer engagement and creating a pipeline of strategic accounts while managing existing customers. As builders, we are here to build long-term relationships with our customers. With a strong Bias for Action, you will improve user experiences while engaging with external and internal stakeholders demonstrating Customer Obsession.
Key job responsibilities
- Support SMB customers within a defined territory, having single threaded ownership of the territory
- Drive adoption of new AWS services, always working backwards from the customer problem
- Develop relationships with stakeholders across the entire customer organization, including C-suite engagement.
- Work with the AWS partner community to ensure strong partner alignment to support your customers
- Work with the supporting functions in AWS, including specialist sales and technical teams, to support customer requirements
