This role supports group-level financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements. It plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities and supporting audit and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Support month-end and year-end closing processes for group accounts
* Perform foreign exchange revaluation and prepare hedge accounting entries
* Conduct monthly account analysis and reconcile intercompany balances
* Assist in preparation of financial statements and group reporting packages
* Review submissions from subsidiaries and coordinate with auditors
* Prepare and document consolidation and elimination entries
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve outstanding financial items
* Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes
* Maintain fixed asset register and lease accounting schedules
* Support preparation and submission of tax filings across entities

Ideal Profile

* Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as CA or ACCA
* Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial accounting or audit
* Strong understanding of IFRS standards
* Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
* Exposure to commodities or related industries is an advantage
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as SAP or BPC
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
