Cost Controller Openings Job Vacancy in UAE
What we need from you:
·Ensure to perform the various activities like menu costing, menu pricing, and introducing or changing of menus according to the F&B Department's requirements.
·To ensure effective analysis of food costs by commenting on variances between potential and actual food costs, analyzing recipes, yields and portioning of orders and recommending accordingly
·To analyze food & beverage sales by comparing detailed food and beverage sales information. Computing daily cost percentage by F&B Department, and preparing various analytical reports as required
·To contribute to inventory control by overseeing proper record-keeping of inventories on raw materials purchased, ensuring regular inventory-checking and assisting in the review and improvement on inventory control systems
·To ensure overall efficiency of the section by providing supervision and reference to staff whenever required, and resolving effectively problems referred.
·Pre-cost all restaurant and banquet menus of all purchases and prepared items. Develop information to pre-cost all food items purchased
·Investigates and reports any irregularities or excessive costs
·Prepares Monthly F&B Cost Control reports, Out Lets P&L reports, and analyses variances
·Makes recommendations on cost reductions
·Highlights slow-moving stock items
·Develop and maintain a system of financial internal controls
·Manage closing of books and preparation of Cost Control Reports as per company standards
· Analyse and interpret financial reports, identify trends and make recommendations where necessary
·Organize inventories of the Assets and S.O.E in coordination with relevant departments
·Develop and maintain manual and computer filing system and ensure that the files are properly named, cataloged and access is available for authorized persons only
·Establishing the monthly profit and loss statement per outlet. The analysis should include revenue, sales costs, payroll, S.O.E., other expenses, and productivity.
What Are We Looking For?
·Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Accounting or another related field
·FBM system- experience is a must
.Candidate must be available in UAE and can join in a short notice
·Ability to handle the full Cost control function with minimum supervision - aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities-
·At least 3 years of experience in cost controlling in F&B or food production industry
·Structured and logical mindset and good office skills.
