Role Context
The Experienced Associate plays an important role within Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance team by supporting audit planning, risk identification, compliance reviews, and financial reporting assessments across client engagements. This role combines strong accounting knowledge, professional judgement, and audit execution while helping clients strengthen financial integrity and maintain compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform audit procedures in line with Deloitte methodology and professional audit standards
* Apply knowledge of relevant accounting standards applicable to client entities and financial reporting frameworks
* Conduct risk assessment procedures to identify and assess risks of material misstatement
* Support the delivery of high-quality audits using global audit methodology, tools, learning resources, and guidance
* Review financial records, supporting documents, and accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance
* Formulate professional judgements and conclusions to deliver timely and informative audit outputs
* Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, ethical standards, and independence requirements
* Follow relevant laws, regulations, and audit firm quality control procedures including local compliance requirements
* Prepare audit documentation, reports, and findings with clarity and accuracy
* Coordinate with team members and client stakeholders to resolve audit issues and maintain engagement progress
* Support continuous improvement within audit engagements and internal team processes
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related field
* Strong academic credentials with solid accounting and finance foundation
* 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, or related professional roles
* Strong understanding of accounting standards, audit procedures, and compliance requirements
* Demonstrated leadership potential, problem-solving ability, and professional judgement
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with professionals at all organizational levels
* Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
* Preference given to bilingual candidates with Arabic and English language skills
