Job Overview
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Doha, you will support operational excellence by performing technical inspections, scheduled maintenance, and necessary repairs to ensure safe and reliable aircraft operations. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct mechanical and system inspections to evaluate functionality and compliance
* Calibrate, adjust, and align aircraft systems using hand tools and testing equipment
* Dismantle and inspect aircraft components such as engines and fuselage for defects
* Assemble and install mechanical, hydraulic, and structural parts per specifications
* Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning screens, lubricating parts, and checking brake systems
* Repair and replace worn or defective components including rigging, hydraulic units, and structural panels
* Use diagnostic tools to test systems and interpret engine sounds for malfunction detection
* Remove and install engines using hoists or forklifts
* Interpret technical drawings, engineering orders, and manuals for component modifications
* Troubleshoot technical problems and propose timely solutions
* Complete all documentation as per regulatory and company standards
* Collaborate with engineering and operations departments to resolve critical maintenance issues
Required Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance
* Strong understanding of heavy cabin and in-flight entertainment systems
* Ability to diagnose mechanical and system issues and conduct timely repairs
* Competence in reading technical manuals and specifications
* Excellent communication skills in English
