This role involves hands-on technical work to ensure aircraft systems, components, and structures are maintained in accordance with approved maintenance data, safety protocols, and operational standards. What You’ll Do
* Conduct inspections, adjustments, and tests on aircraft systems and components
* Perform structural repairs, component replacements, and assembly of mechanical and hydraulic systems
* Diagnose system malfunctions using tools, test equipment, and maintenance data
* Remove and install engines or components using lifting equipment and following safety procedures
* Service aircraft by checking and replenishing fluids, greasing moving parts, and cleaning systems
* Modify aircraft systems based on technical drawings and engineering documentation
* Document maintenance actions and ensure all activities comply with aviation safety regulations
* Collaborate with maintenance teams and report to supervisors regarding tasks and findings
Candidate Requirements
* High school diploma or vocational training with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
* OR bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of job-related experience in aircraft maintenance
* Hands-on experience in mechanical, structural, or systems servicing on commercial aircraft
* Familiarity with aircraft manuals, safety standards, and tooling requirements
* Good understanding of troubleshooting, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance procedures
* Capable of reading technical diagrams and following standard aviation protocols
* Basic math and measurement skills to perform adjustments and calibrations
* Proficient in English with good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Completed aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or formal training program
* Experience working independently on maintenance tasks typical to the assigned aircraft type
* Ability to monitor equipment operation and perform corrective maintenance as needed
