This role is crucial to supporting air cargo logistics by ensuring timely and secure transport of freight across airside operations using equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and transport lifters.

Job Overview
As a Cargo Transport Driver, you will play an essential role in facilitating the movement of goods within the cargo hub. This includes handling shipments that require special attention such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, mail, and dangerous goods, while adhering to strict safety, security, and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and operate cargo equipment including tractors, forklifts, and transport lifters across airside locations
* Transport sensitive and high-value shipments such as DG, VAL, PER, COU, AVI, and mail in compliance with SOPs
* Perform pre-trip vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety issues
* Follow all operational safety procedures to avoid mishandling or accidents
* Log accurate cargo location and movement information for tracking and flight assignment
* Maintain awareness of special handling procedures for temperature-sensitive and time-critical shipments
* Comply with all company health, safety, and security protocols during transport and handling
* Perform other duties as assigned by the department head to support cargo operations
Required Skills and Experience
* Possess a valid Airport Vehicle Operation Permit (AVOP) or home country light vehicle driving license
* Valid eye test certificate from a recognized driving institute
* Preference given to candidates who currently hold or can obtain a Qatari light vehicle license
* Basic knowledge of cargo handling procedures and operational safety standards
* Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
* Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, multicultural environment
