Compliance Manager - Airlines/Aviation Doha
Qatar Airways is hiring a Compliance Manager to support group-wide regulatory and compliance strategies. This role is responsible for advising on legal and compliance matters, maintaining internal policies, mitigating regulatory risk, and ensuring adherence to global standards in areas such as sanctions, export control, due diligence, and ethics.

Job Overview
* Provide legal and compliance advice on regulatory matters across Qatar Airways Group
* Assist in the development, review, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
* Support legal interpretations of sanctions, export control, and anti-bribery legislation
* Conduct compliance assessments and help design risk mitigation strategies
* Respond to internal and external inquiries related to ethics and regulatory issues
* Identify and address legal risks and compliance gaps within departments and processes
* Assist in handling compliance-related investigations in line with organizational risk appetite
* Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure alignment with global compliance expectations
* Keep documentation and guidance material up to date with changing laws and best practices
* Support the implementation and maintenance of a global compliance framework
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
* Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in law
* Minimum 7 years of compliance and regulatory legal experience
* Qualified lawyer in a recognized jurisdiction
* Background in legal, compliance, or risk functions within a multinational environment
Skills
* Strong knowledge of international compliance regulations, including sanctions and export control
* Experience in regulatory risk analysis and policy development
* Effective communicator with excellent writing and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to manage complex issues and advise multiple stakeholders
Preferred
* Professional compliance certification
* Experience in the aviation industry or similar regulated environment
* Familiarity with technology and tools related to governance, risk, and compliance
