In this full-time role, you will play a key part in developing legal, optimized rosters for flight deck and cabin crew while balancing cost efficiency, compliance, fatigue risk, and crew satisfaction. What You’ll Do
* Develop optimized, regulation-compliant rosters using crew planning systems and optimization tools
* Ensure full adherence to QCAA regulations, company policies, and fatigue risk management requirements
* Conduct “what-if” scenario planning and analyze the impact on productivity, quality, and compliance
* Coordinate standby allocations to maximize operational readiness within target headcount
* Generate detailed roster performance reports and recommend improvements to enhance crew satisfaction and resource use
* Periodically audit the Carmen Crew Rostering (CCR) system for accuracy and rectify logic errors
* Contribute to long-term and short-term crew planning strategies based on business targets
* Maintain updated procedures, checklists, and documentation for roster management
* Communicate new policies, implementations, or changes to the team for optimal system use
Candidate Requirements
* University degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in crew resources or aviation scheduling
* Strong understanding of flight time limitations and regulatory requirements
* Hands-on experience with crew optimization platforms (e.g., Carmen Crew Rostering)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
* Experience in operational analytics and workforce planning
* Excellent written and spoken English, including report and presentation skills
* Ability to balance competing demands and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
