Job Overview
As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will play a central role in delivering superior service across Hamad International Airport by monitoring passenger flow, ensuring service standards, managing customer needs, and supervising a team of Senior Customer Service Agents. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee passenger flows and terminal functionalities to ensure seamless operations
* Supervise and coach a team of Senior Customer Service Agents
* Conduct regular terminal inspections including seating, queuing, toilet facilities, and accessibility pathways
* Enforce company policies and procedures, and manage team schedules and performance
* Monitor special needs passenger handling (e.g. PRMs, deportees) and ensure adequate support
* Provide regular updates to the Duty Terminal Manager and escalate issues as needed
* Respond proactively to terminal pressure points by reallocating staff resources
* Support customer service training content development and delivery
* Submit detailed reports on operational issues, passenger trends, and terminal conditions
Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or Vocational Qualification with 3+ years relevant experience OR
* Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of customer service experience in a supervisory role
* Proven ability to mentor, coach, and manage diverse teams
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
* Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and terminal operations
* Strong communication and computer literacy
* Ability to adapt to a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
* Experience in handling customers in a large transit facility is preferred
