This position is suited for an experienced CAR 66 or EASA licensed engineer who can manage aircraft maintenance tasks, guide technical staff, support operational readiness, and ensure aircraft are released safely, efficiently, and in line with approved maintenance data and company procedures.

Role Context
The Flight Engineer - Aircraft Maintenance will play a key role in maintaining business aviation aircraft to approved technical, safety, and regulatory standards. The role directly supports safe flight operations by ensuring aircraft defects are accurately diagnosed, maintenance work is properly supervised, documentation is completed on time, and aircraft are dispatched without avoidable delays.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform and certify scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and aircraft defect rectification in line with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Issue Certificates of Release to Service for completed maintenance work, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and compliant.
* Supervise allocated maintenance staff and ensure tasks are performed safely, correctly, and to the required quality standards.
* Review assigned work, available resources, technical requirements, and defect priorities to support fast and effective aircraft rectification.
* Inform the Maintenance Manager about service disruptions, technical concerns, operational risks, or issues that may affect the flying programme.
* Ensure maintenance teams follow published technical instructions, safety rules, manuals, engineering procedures, and company publications.
* Allocate priorities to technicians and support staff so resources are used effectively for safe and on-time aircraft departures.
* Verify that maintenance documentation, task cards, technical records, and certification entries are completed within required timelines.
* Inspect replacement parts and components before fitment, confirming approved type, correct certification, release status, and physical condition.
* Ensure removed components are handled, labelled, blanked, and recorded correctly in line with aircraft maintenance procedures.
* Maintain workmanship standards by ensuring correct tools, approved methods, and quality checks are used during all supervised maintenance work.
* Prepare and submit technical delay reports, defect summaries, incident reports, discrepancy updates, and other required technical documentation.
* Ensure arriving aircraft are met by a certifying engineer or technician and flight crews are debriefed properly to define and record defects accurately.
* Participate actively in the company Safety Management System and ensure safety precautions are followed across all maintenance activities.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should be a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer with proven experience in corporate aviation, VIP aircraft operations, and high-pressure maintenance environments. The role requires technical accuracy, strong supervision skills, sound regulatory awareness, and the ability to support safe aircraft availability in a premium business aviation operation.
* Valid CAR 66 or EASA B1 or B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
* Airbus A318, A319, or A320 Type Rating is required.
* Additional type ratings on Bombardier Global Express, Falcon 6X, Falcon 7X, Challenger 604, Challenger 605, or Challenger 650 are preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience in a corporate or VIP aviation environment.
* Prior Middle East aviation maintenance experience is an advantage.
* Ability to supervise maintenance staff and maintain high technical and safety standards.
* Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation, release to service procedures, regulatory requirements, and technical reporting.
* Permanent residency in Dubai or willingness to relocate to Dubai is required.
* Aircraft maintenance engineer license must be attached with the CV for application consideration.
