Qatar Airways is hiring a Food Safety Compliance Officer to join our quality assurance team in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on developing and implementing a robust food safety management system aligned with international standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP. You will lead documentation, internal audits, supplier evaluations, and cross-departmental initiatives to support food safety certification and compliance.

Core Duties

* Implement a HACCP-based food safety management system with SOPs and prerequisite programs across all relevant sections
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for SOPs, manuals, and audit records to meet international certification standards
* Represent the QA team during customer and external audits; lead supplier audits to ensure upstream compliance
* Conduct internal gap analyses and recommend corrective actions to meet ISO 22000 and QACC food safety requirements
* Coordinate and train cross-functional food safety teams to ensure compliance and readiness for certification
* Continuously review and update workflows and procedures based on operational changes and risk assessments
* Deliver food safety awareness training and support departmental improvements under the guidance of the Head of Department

Candidate Requirements

* Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with at least 4 years of experience
* Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
* Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety audits, SOP development, and compliance documentation
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-stakes compliance responsibilities independently
