Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Qatar Executive Doha
Qatar Executive, a division of Qatar Airways Group, is hiring a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support maintenance operations for its fleet of Gulfstream and Global Express aircraft. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance execution in accordance with QCAA regulations and company procedures.
Job Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 20000–25000 QAR monthly (Market estimated)

Job Overview
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on Qatar Executive fleet
* Lead and supervise technical teams, ensuring efficient use of manpower and resources
* Coordinate inspections, prioritize defect rectification, and ensure airworthiness of aircraft
* Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site support during aircraft dispatch or AOG situations
* Release maintenance work in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards
* Liaise with OEMs and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues
* Provide assistance to Maintenance Control, CAMO, and other support departments
* Travel on short notice to perform maintenance at off-base locations as required
* Offer technical guidance and on-the-job training for mechanics and technicians
* Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes and reliability standards
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
* Degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of certifying experience in a Part 145 organization
* Must hold ICAO Type II / EASA Part 66 B1 license or QCAA license
* Current certifying authorization with a recognized authority (EASA or TCCA)
* Experience with corporate jet aircraft maintenance (Gulfstream or Bombardier preferred)
Skills
* In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and documentation
* Ability to work independently and lead a team under pressure
* Skilled in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
* Strong communication in English (spoken and written)
* Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and engineering data
