Pastry Line Operator - Bakery Production
Role Summary
Qatar Airways is seeking a skilled Pastry Line Operator to join its Bakery and Pastry division in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will operate automated food production lines, ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient operation of machines and equipment involved in pastry portioning, packing, and processing. Your focus will be on quality control, adherence to food safety standards, and on-time output to support high-volume catering operations.

Core Duties
* Operate and monitor production lines including portioning, packing, and pastry lines according to standard procedures
* Conduct equipment serviceability checks at the start and end of each shift; report any irregularities or maintenance needs promptly
* Pre-set equipment speed and timing to match product requirements while maintaining efficiency and safety
* Guide non-operator staff on correct use of machinery to ensure uniformity in operations
* Perform basic troubleshooting and quick-fix maintenance of machinery as per manufacturer’s guidelines
* Coordinate with supervisors and technical teams during shift handovers and emergencies
* Ensure KPI targets are met for volume, safety, and quality metrics across the shift
* Maintain accurate records of machine operation and issues encountered
Candidate Profile
* High School Diploma, Vocational Qualification, or Bachelor\'s Degree
* Minimum 2 years of experience in food production or bakery line operations
* Hands-on knowledge of operating and adjusting automated production machinery
* Familiar with safety protocols for food manufacturing equipment
* Good English communication and basic computer skills
* Strong time management and flexibility to work rotating shifts
