Qatar Airways is hiring a Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead the roster planning and training schedule coordination for Cabin Services Instructors. Job Overview
* Manage daily operations of the Cabin Services Training Planning team
* Oversee the creation and publication of monthly rosters for instructors
* Monitor instructor upskilling and training coverage to ensure resource availability
* Optimize use of facilities and training infrastructure including classrooms, mock-ups, and training devices
* Maintain up-to-date SOP manuals for instructor planning processes
* Coordinate with key departments to support smooth execution of the training plan
* Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and continuity
* Develop and track KPIs related to training plans, rosters, and resource utilization
* Prepare analytical reports and recommend solutions to minimize training disruptions
* Respond to instructor-related inquiries regarding schedules, duty swaps, and leave
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight for the planning team
* Support leadership with reports and strategic planning activities related to crew training
Job Requirements
Education
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 6 years of related experience
* OR high school/vocational diploma with minimum 7 years of related experience
Experience and Skills
* Experience in cabin crew/instructor roster planning or crew control
* Familiarity with crew training systems is an advantage
* Previous exposure to international airline or multicultural work environments
* Strong command of English and advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to delegate tasks, guide team members, and ensure workflow efficiency
* Leadership and coordination capabilities in time-sensitive operations
