Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Talent Development Specialist to lead the design and delivery of professional development initiatives at MATAR. Based in Doha, Qatar, this role supports MATAR’s strategic objectives by enhancing employee competencies, promoting engagement, and upskilling Qatari nationals in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of adult learning principles, program design, and leadership development in the aviation sector.

Core Responsibilities
* Design and implement learning and development strategies aligned with MATAR’s operational and leadership competencies
* Deliver tailored talent development initiatives including Train-the-Trainer programs, induction modules, and leadership development sessions
* Conduct Training Needs Analysis in collaboration with business units to create bespoke, high-impact training programs
* Partner with Qatar Airways National Talent Development team to develop Qatari Nationals in line with Qatar’s 2030 development goals
* Facilitate workshops and blended learning programs (virtual and in-person) using best practice instructional design techniques
* Oversee training contracts and manage technical evaluations of external training providers
* Monitor, report, and evaluate training impact and learner engagement using data-driven feedback
* Champion employee engagement through structured learning programs, workshops, and events
* Supervise trainers and support succession planning through mentoring and team development
* Coordinate with HR teams on improvements to the new hire induction process
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with national and international standards
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience in talent development
* CIPD Level 3 certification or equivalent required
* Certifications in instructional design, training delivery, or coaching (ICF or similar)
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience managing training in an aviation or airport environment
* Proven ability in designing, delivering, and evaluating corporate learning initiatives
* Strong planning, stakeholder coordination, and public relations skills
* Excellent mentoring, coaching, and leadership capabilities
* Fluent in English with strong written and presentation skills
