Job Overview
As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training programs, evaluating on-the-job trainers, maintaining training documentation, and supporting the professional growth of the cargo services team. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing staff capabilities and aligning training objectives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver operational and soft skills training to employees and external clients per the approved training plan
* Design and update training modules, materials, assessments, and surveys
* Evaluate and mentor on-the-job trainers to maintain instructional quality
* Track and analyze training metrics, such as attendance and performance outcomes
* Prepare weekly/monthly training schedules and monitor adherence to annual training targets
* Lead refresher sessions on new or updated company and regulatory policies
* Identify training needs through gap analysis and staff feedback
* Collaborate with team leads to ensure training aligns with departmental goals
* Support the recruitment, development, and coaching of team members for succession planning
* Perform additional training-related duties as directed by the department head

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of job-related experience
* OR High School/Vocational/Diploma with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
* Certified in Train the Trainer course from a recognized institution or completion of Qatar Airways’ LEAP1 & 2 programs
* Experience in the aviation or logistics industry is highly preferred
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Proficient in developing training documentation and using learning tools
* Ability to evaluate and improve existing training strategies
* Organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced multicultural environment
