Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure accuracy of financial documents and their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Prepare tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filing.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Provide support for financial planning and analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
