* Assess allegations, audit findings, worker grievances and external escalations against established human rights criteria.
* Determine appropriate investigation and remediation approaches based on case severity, available evidence and operational risk.
* Coordinate investigations into alleged human rights, labor or environmental impacts.
* Work directly with suppliers and service providers to establish practical corrective action plans.
* Develop preventive measures that address underlying causes rather than only immediate compliance gaps.
* Verify evidence demonstrating that identified findings and escalated issues have been effectively resolved.
* Conduct supplier or service provider site visits when direct assessment or remediation guidance is required.
* Evaluate remediation effectiveness and determine whether additional actions are necessary before case closure.
* Manage cases within established service level requirements while maintaining investigation quality and documentation standards.
* Apply existing remediation frameworks consistently while adapting approaches to unique case circumstances.
* Maintain complete case histories with clear evidence, decisions, rationale, actions and outcomes.
* Protect data integrity within case management systems used for human rights due diligence and trend analysis.
* Identify recurring themes across the case portfolio and escalate systemic risks to regional remediation leadership.
* Analyze case information to uncover emerging labor, supplier or social impact concerns.
* Contribute practical lessons from completed cases to standardized remediation protocols and operational guidance.
* Recommend improvements to standard operating procedures, case frameworks and investigation processes.
* Collaborate with Legal, PR, HR, sourcing and other internal teams when cases involve complex stakeholder considerations.
* Build alignment among stakeholders where legal, reputational, commercial or operational priorities differ.
* Support stakeholder response coordination during sensitive or escalated human rights matters.
* Engage suppliers professionally while maintaining clear expectations for corrective action and evidence.
* Apply Amazon\'s Global Human Rights Principles and Supply Chain Standards when evaluating supplier-related impacts.
* Support integration of human rights and environmental due diligence into wider business processes.
* Maintain awareness of international labor standards and established human rights frameworks.
* Share operational knowledge through case shadowing, informal coaching and team discussions.
* Mentor junior specialists when required and help improve consistency in case handling.
* Participate in initiatives that strengthen the Human Rights and Social Impact program\'s investigation and remediation capability.

Ideal Profile

* Demonstrated background managing investigations, issue resolution or remediation programs.
* Strong working knowledge of human rights principles, labor standards and remediation methods.
* Experience investigating sensitive allegations and assessing supporting evidence.
* Proven ability to coordinate effectively with Legal, PR, HR, sourcing and other cross-functional stakeholders.
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to recognize patterns across multiple cases and data sources.
* Able to manage several active investigations simultaneously while meeting established SLA requirements.
* Strong written documentation skills with the ability to record evidence, findings and decisions clearly.
* Comfortable making case-level decisions independently within established frameworks.
* Willingness to travel to supplier facilities when investigation or remediation activities require site presence.
* Experience using case management systems and maintaining high data quality standards.
* Professional auditing, risk or compliance credentials are advantageous.
* Knowledge of ILO standards, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights or comparable international frameworks is preferred.
