Key Responsibilities
* Monitor architectural works to ensure all activities follow approved inspection plans, drawings, codes, specifications, and project requirements.
* Inspect architectural finishes, building components, materials, installations, and completed works against approved shop drawings and method statements.
* Process incoming inspection requests, technical submittals, and site documentation as directed by project leads.
* Coordinate with Senior Architectural Engineers, site engineers, managers, contractors, and inspection teams to support smooth project delivery.
* Review and monitor contractor documents, shop drawings, and submissions to identify issues that may affect architectural stability, function, quality, or project progress.
* Monitor contractor compliance with the approved Quality Control Plan and inspection protocols.
* Perform architectural inspections, material inspections, field checks, and quality verification for building finishes and related components.
* Review variations and support early identification of time, cost, quality, and coordination impacts.
* Issue NCRs when non-compliance is identified and assist contractors with corrective action follow-up.
* Maintain full site records, daily logs, site diaries, formal monthly progress photographs, inspection reports, and testing records.
* Prepare progress reports on architectural work status, quality issues, inspection outcomes, and site observations.
* Assist with expediting NOCs, client approvals, contractor submissions, and delayed approvals when required.
* Coordinate with site teams to ensure contractual obligations, inspection requirements, and quality standards are met.
* Verify that completed architectural works comply with design requirements, specifications, project plans, and contract administration procedures.
* Monitor HSE matters related to architectural installations and participate in safety meetings or training when required.
* Support final inspection, handover, and close-out activities by checking completed works and maintaining accurate documentation.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 7 years of overall experience in architectural inspection, construction supervision, or building project quality control.
* Minimum 5 years of UAE experience is required.
* Experience in construction supervision with a consultancy is required.
* Strong background in architectural projects, building finishes, site inspections, and contractor coordination.
* Good knowledge of architectural methodologies, basic design requirements, finishes, construction techniques, and building codes.
* Experience with mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, horizontal development, or other building projects will be valuable.
* Able to inspect works against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection plans, and quality procedures.
* Strong report writing skills with clear written English and the ability to present observations concisely.
* Good communication skills for coordination with engineers, contractors, managers, and site inspection teams.
* Detail-focused, safety-aware, and capable of maintaining accurate site records, inspection logs, and quality documentation.
