BIM Coordinator - Landscape
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator - Landscape to join our dynamic team at Azizi, working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing BIM models across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and workflows. You will support the BIM Management Team and collaborate with design and engineering teams to enhance project delivery and maintain high-quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the BIM Management Team to ensure full compliance with established BIM standards, workflows, and protocols, contributing to consistent and high-quality project delivery.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of BIM models across multiple disciplines, including Architecture, Structures, MEP, Interiors, and Landscape Design.
- Develop and manage Revit families to meet project-specific requirements, ensuring accuracy, parametric functionality, and alignment with BIM standards.
- Manage clash detection processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure model accuracy and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide support and oversight for the Common Data Environment (CDE) using BIM 360 Hub, ensuring proper access control, data management, and adherence to project workflows and standards.
- Conduct model health checks to ensure compliance with project standards, optimize performance, and enhance model interoperability.
- Assist in creating and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with design and engineering teams to address modeling challenges, align deliverables, and ensure effective collaboration.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including the design team, contractors, and sub-consultants, to achieve project objectives and resolve BIM-related issues.
- Conduct regular model audits to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Ensure that models adhere to Level of Development (LOD) specifications and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform quality checks on deliverables to maintain consistency and precision in documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance BIM adoption within the organization.
- Generate accurate project deliverables, including 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, model review and comment trackers, clash detection reports, and project updates for the Head of BIM and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with certifications in BIM Software.
- Strong experience in BIM Management, Implementation, and Coordination.
- Involved in model development from LOD 100 to LOD 500, demonstrating advanced proficiency in BIM processes.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices, including ISO 19650 compliance.
- Experience with multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for ensuring model accuracy and integrity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder management and team coordination.
- Ability to facilitate coordination meetings, provide technical guidance, and resolve modeling challenges.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
