Position Overview

The BIM Manager - Digital Delivery position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a senior Architecture and Planning opportunity focused on BIM governance, multidisciplinary model coordination, digital information management, and ISO 19650 compliance. AECOM is hiring an experienced BIM leader to manage digital delivery standards, oversee project information workflows, and coordinate complex building and infrastructure models across a major client program.

Role Context

The BIM Manager will provide governance and technical direction for digital delivery throughout the project lifecycle. The role


will ensure that project teams, consultants, and contractors follow approved BIM requirements, information exchange procedures, modelling standards, and client-specific digital mandates.

By maintaining structured coordination, reliable model quality, and an effective Common Data Environment, the manager will help reduce design conflicts, improve decision-making, strengthen information traceability, and support efficient delivery across multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement BIM and digital delivery processes in accordance with AECOM standards and client requirements.
* Develop, maintain, and govern Project BIM Execution Plans.
* Prepare and manage Master Information Delivery Plans and Task Information Delivery Plans.
* Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure BIM models.
* Oversee modelling workflows using Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other approved design platforms.
* Manage clash detection, technical coordination, and issue resolution through Navisworks, ACC Model Coordination, Revizto, or similar systems.
* Establish model review cycles and ensure identified clashes are assigned, tracked, and closed.
* Govern the Common Data Environment across Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, ProjectWise, or equivalent platforms.
* Control information workflows, user permissions, naming conventions, document status, and information exchanges.
* Apply BIM quality assurance and quality control procedures across project and consultant models.
* Conduct model audits, standards reviews, data validation, and compliance checks.
* Verify alignment with ISO 19650 requirements and applicable Saudi or GCC BIM mandates.
* Develop Dynamo scripts and automation workflows that improve modelling efficiency and data quality.
* Oversee BIM reporting, project dashboards, and digital performance metrics using Power BI.
* Provide program-level visibility into model status, coordination progress, information delivery, and outstanding issues.
* Support 4D and 5D BIM integration where required for planning, cost management, and construction sequencing.
* Coordinate digital handover requirements and asset information delivery.
* Lead, mentor, and develop BIM coordinators, modellers, information managers, and digital delivery personnel.
* Act as the primary BIM interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project leadership.
* Contribute to corporate BIM standards, templates, digital frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline and bring more than 10 years of experience in BIM delivery within the architecture, engineering, and construction sector.

Applicants should have proven experience working as a BIM Manager, Information Manager, or Digital Delivery Manager on large and technically complex projects. Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans, information delivery planning, model coordination, and Common Data Environment governance is essential.

Advanced proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and ProjectWise is expected. Hands-on capability with Dynamo automation and Power BI reporting will be particularly valuable.

Experience supporting giga-projects, major master-planned developments, or multidisciplinary programs in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC is preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management, presentation, and technical problem-solving skills.
