Role Context
The engineer will create drawing packages that communicate design requirements accurately across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and electronics. Deliverables must remain coordinated from individual details through complete
sheet sets so that reviewers and downstream teams can rely on consistent technical information.
The work requires close attention to dimensions, references, revision status, and relationships between building plans, schematics, and specialized component layouts.
Key Responsibilities
* Convert project briefs, sketches, technical notes, and reference files into structured CAD drawings.
* Draft architectural floor plans showing layouts, dimensions, openings, equipment, and relevant annotations.
* Produce elevation sets that communicate heights, finishes, interfaces, and design relationships.
* Develop engineering drawings suitable for technical coordination and formal review.
* Apply approved standards for layers, line types, symbols, scales, templates, and file organization.
* Maintain alignment between plans, elevations, schedules, details, and supporting references.
* Add geometric dimensioning and tolerancing information to manufacturing-related drawings.
* Review tolerance callouts for clarity, completeness, and consistency with intended production methods.
* Create multi-page electrical schematics with traceable circuit and component references.
* Cross-check connections, labels, sheet links, and equipment identifiers throughout schematic packages.
* Develop and assess PCB layouts in accordance with functional and manufacturability requirements.
* Coordinate electronic layouts with applicable electrical and building-system information.
* Detect drawing conflicts, incomplete inputs, duplicate references, and dimensional inconsistencies.
* Prepare technical queries that clearly describe missing or contradictory requirements.
* Apply approved review comments and record drawing changes accurately.
* Manage issue stages, revision numbers, transmittal information, and drawing-register updates.
* Assemble complete submission packages according to scope and milestone requirements.
* Perform systematic checks of annotations, units, dimensions, title blocks, and sheet sequences.
* Communicate progress and technical concerns to remote project participants.
* Submit accurate deliverables within agreed schedules and quality thresholds.
Ideal Profile
Applicants should have at least three years of recent professional experience producing architectural CAD drawings and construction-documentation packages. Strong working ability with recognized two-dimensional and three-dimensional design platforms is essential.
Candidates must be capable of interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements and developing detailed electrical schematics. Familiarity with PCB design tools and the coordination of electronic layouts within wider building or engineering projects is also expected.
