Position Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a Design Architect in Dubai, UAE to join its PODs Factory team and develop architectural solutions for prefabricated and modular POD systems. The role will focus on bathroom and kitchen PODs, detailed design, technical documentation, production drawings, multidisciplinary coordination, and design optimization for factory manufacturing and site installation. The position requires strong Revit and AutoCAD capability together with practical knowledge of construction detailing and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly principles.

Design and Development
* Develop architectural designs for prefabricated and modular POD systems.
* Produce solutions
for bathroom and kitchen POD applications.
* Prepare detailed architectural design drawings and technical documentation.
* Develop shop, fabrication, and production drawings suitable for factory use.
* Translate architectural requirements into practical solutions for manufacturing and site installation.
* Review construction details to ensure compatibility with the intended production process.
* Maintain design compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and applicable standards.
Modular and Factory Coordination
The Design Architect will work closely with MEP, structural, production, and manufacturing teams to coordinate architectural requirements throughout design development and factory production.
* Coordinate architectural layouts and details with MEP requirements.
* Resolve interfaces between architectural and structural components.
* Work with production and manufacturing teams to address fabrication requirements.
* Review materials, finishes, construction details, and manufacturing methods.
* Identify design issues that could affect factory production or site installation.
* Develop practical and cost-conscious architectural solutions.
DfMA and Design Optimization
Support design optimization in accordance with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly principles, with emphasis on repeatability, constructability, efficient factory production, and practical installation.
The role requires an understanding of how architectural decisions influence fabrication and assembly, ensuring that design intent can be translated effectively into manufactured POD components.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture or a related field.
* 5+ years of architectural design experience.
* Experience in detailed architectural design and construction detailing.
* Strong technical documentation experience.
* Experience with PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or factory-based production is preferred.
* Candidates with strong villa or residential design experience will also be considered.
* Hospitality experience is relevant to the role.
* Bathroom or kitchen fit-out experience will also be considered.
Technical Skills
* Strong Revit proficiency.
