Role Context
The Design
Manager will lead the architectural and interior design process for complex luxury hospitality assets from concept development through detailed design and construction execution. Acting as the principal coordination point between the client, PMC teams, international consultants, contractors, and specialist designers, the role will ensure that every design decision supports the intended brand experience while remaining practical, buildable, compliant, commercially viable, and operationally effective.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead architectural and interior design management across luxury hospitality projects.
* Establish clear design priorities aligned with the client\'s vision, hospitality brand standards, guest expectations, and operational requirements.
* Guide design development from concept through schematic, detailed, tender, and construction stages.
* Maintain design quality and consistency across architecture, interiors, landscape, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
* Review design concepts against the desired luxury positioning and overall project identity.
* Encourage innovative design solutions that strengthen guest experience and destination appeal.
* Provide leadership and technical direction to multidisciplinary design teams.
* Mentor design personnel and promote consistent design standards across all workstreams.
* Coordinate international design consultants, contractors, specialist designers, and project stakeholders.
* Act as the primary design interface between the client and PMC project management team.
