What Does an Enterprise Architecture Specialist Do?
An Enterprise Architecture Specialist is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure. This includes developing cloud-based architectures, improving data security, and ensuring seamless integration across all business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Cloud Strategy
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework to optimize efficiency and scalability
- Design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions that balance performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
- Create and manage architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and cloud-based system integrations
Data & Security Governance
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and financial data protection regulations
- Define data flow processes to enhance security, accuracy, and consistency
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to develop risk mitigation strategies
Technology Integration & Vendor Management
- Evaluate and select third-party vendors and cloud solutions aligned with business objectives
- Provide strategic recommendations for IT infrastructure, system upgrades, and application enhancements
- Oversee technology integrations to improve system performance and reduce operational risks
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with business leaders and IT teams to align enterprise architecture with strategic goals
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide ongoing technical guidance
- Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud computing, microservices, and AI-driven architecture
What Skills Are Needed for an Enterprise Architect in Abu Dhabi?
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure
- 4+ years of experience in cloud computing (Azure, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration, cybersecurity, and system scalability
- TOGAF or Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification is a plus
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
