Position Overview
Azizi Developments is hiring a Head of Concept – Residential to lead high-profile architectural design initiatives within its Design 360 Studio in Dubai. The role involves managing concept creation for landmark residential projects, driving design innovation, and leading multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structures, interiors, MEP, and landscape. This senior leadership role reports to the Deputy Head of Design and requires extensive experience in residential, retail, and mixed-use projects at all scales.

Job Details
* Lead design pitches, concept creation, and feasibility studies for villas, high-rise, and mixed-use projects
* Utilize AI and automation tools to support efficient concept development and design production workflows
* Manage resources within the design team to meet project needs and deadlines
* Oversee design and change management processes, ensuring stakeholder requirements are incorporated
* Direct teams of architects, CAD/BIM technicians, visualizers, and designers from feasibility through schematic stages
* Deliver feasibility studies, pre-concept, concept packages, preliminary approvals, and marketing kits aligned with studio benchmarks
* Promote collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams
* Ensure accuracy, compliance, and documentation of all project design outputs and reports
* Coordinate authority submissions with adherence to local and international codes and standards (IBC, DM Codes, NFPA, UDC)
* Mentor team members, drive research and development, and explore innovative design solutions
* Build networks with suppliers, contractors, and business partners to support project delivery
* Incorporate cost, constructability, maintenance, and sustainability considerations into design solutions
* Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate best practices into the design studio
Ideal Profile
* Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
* Minimum 25 years of experience in residential, retail, and mixed-use projects, including villas and super high-rise towers
* Strong freehand sketching skills with ability to resolve details at concept level
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192), and Microsoft Office Suite
* Comprehensive knowledge of international and Dubai-specific building codes and regulations
* Demonstrated leadership in managing design teams and delivering complex projects from concept through execution
