Position Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a Head of Concept – Residential to join our Design 360 Studio in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will lead the creation of concept designs for landmark residential projects, including villas, mansions, and high-rise buildings. The Head of Concept will play a critical role in shaping the vision of developments such as Riviera in MBR City, Mina on Palm Jumeirah, Creek Views in Dubai Healthcare City, and Azizi Venice in Dubai South. This position requires strong architectural leadership, hands-on design expertise, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and value-driven real estate assets.

What You’ll Do
* Lead concept design development for residential, retail, and mixed-use projects including villas, mid-rise, and super high-rise buildings.
* Create design pitches, feasibility studies, and preliminary concept packages.
* Use AI and automation tools to improve design production workflows.
* Manage and allocate resources within the Design 360 Studio to align with project needs.
* Direct and mentor a team of architects, CAD/BIM technicians, visualizers, and graphic designers.
* Oversee feasibility studies, pre-concept, schematic designs, and design approval kits.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance of all design deliverables with client expectations and industry standards.
* Guide design submissions to relevant statutory authorities in line with UAE regulations.
* Promote teamwork and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
* Review designs for constructability, cost-effectiveness, maintenance, and sustainability.
* Maintain traceable records of design decisions, approvals, and justifications.
* Build and maintain a network of suppliers, contractors, and partners to support project delivery.
* Stay up to date with international codes and local regulations (IBC, DM, NFPA, UDC).
* Apply Safety in Design principles across all stages of project development.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (M.Sc. preferred).
* Minimum 25 years of architectural experience across residential, retail, and mixed-use projects.
* Demonstrated expertise in villas, low-rise, medium-rise, and super high-rise design.
* Exceptional freehand sketching ability and design detailing skills.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, LOD specifications).
* Strong knowledge of IBC, DM Codes, NFPA, UDC, and relevant UAE regulations.
* Experienced in managing complex, multidisciplinary design teams.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
