Position Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a highly skilled ID BIM Modeler to join its Design 360 Studio in Dubai. This role focuses on creating and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for high-end interior design projects, with a strong emphasis on custom joinery and millwork. The position requires expertise in Revit, coordination across disciplines, and the ability to deliver accurate, constructible designs that align with client specifications and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed 3D interior models in Revit, covering architectural elements such as walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, and finishes.
* Create and refine joinery and millwork designs including custom cabinetry, wardrobes, modular units, and bespoke furniture.
* Integrate interior design models with MEP and structural models, conducting clash detection and resolving conflicts in coordination meetings.
* Produce accurate construction documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery shop drawings.
* Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, project specifications, and accessibility standards.
* Use Navisworks to perform clash detection and ensure accurate model integration.
* Collaborate with contractors, manufacturers, and the design team to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with project timelines.
* Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases, resolving onsite issues related to joinery and millwork.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 7 years of BIM modeling experience, including at least 4 years in the UAE.
* Strong expertise in Revit for interior design and joinery modeling.
* Advanced understanding of joinery detailing, fabrication processes, and materials.
* Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
* Skilled in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and documentation.
* Knowledge of UAE building regulations, interior design standards, and construction practices.
* Experience with BIM 360 or similar cloud-based collaboration tools is an advantage.
