Key Responsibilities
* Lead concept design, optioneering, and design strategy development for architecture and multidisciplinary project work.
* Prepare architectural massing studies, spatial planning concepts, and design frameworks that balance visual quality with technical feasibility.
* Apply computational, generative, and parametric design methods to support design exploration and decision-making.
* Develop algorithmic and procedural workflows that improve design efficiency, flexibility, and quality.
* Use design automation and optimization workflows to test alternatives and refine project outcomes.
* Conduct environmental and performance-driven analysis using tools such as Ladybug and Galapagos.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, visualization specialists, and other project stakeholders to support integrated design solutions.
* Contribute to AI-enabled design exploration and computational workflow integration across project stages.
* Produce compelling presentations, visual narratives, design diagrams, and storytelling materials for internal and client-facing reviews.
* Guide rendering direction, visualization quality, and graphic communication for architectural concepts.
* Mentor junior and graduate architects in computational design methods, parametric workflows, and logical design problem-solving.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
* Master’s degree in Architecture or a design-related discipline will be an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, concept design, or equivalent design-focused project work.
* Strong background in computational design, procedural workflows, generative design, and parametric modeling.
* Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and architectural visualization workflows.
* Experience with Python scripting, AI-integrated workflows, or design automation will be highly valuable.
* Good understanding of environmental analysis, performance-led design, architectural massing, and spatial development.
* Able to communicate design intent through presentations, diagrams, renderings, narratives, and technical coordination.
* Strong logical thinking, creative problem-solving, and ability to work within multidisciplinary design teams.
* Comfortable supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative design culture.
