Key Responsibilities
* Supervise on-site landscape works including hardscape, softscape, irrigation systems, play equipment, fitness areas, site furniture, and shade structures.
* Inspect contractor activities to ensure work follows approved IFC drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and UAE authority requirements.
* Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents related to landscape and irrigation packages.
* Provide clear technical recommendations to the Resident Engineer on construction quality, design coordination, and site delivery matters.
* Identify constructability concerns, design conflicts, and site discrepancies early to reduce delays and rework.
* Monitor contractor schedules, manpower deployment, material procurement, and delivery progress to support programme targets.
* Witness and document inspections, testing activities, and quality checks in line with approved inspection and test plans.
* Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and construction management staff to resolve RFIs and site-generated technical queries.
* Support NOC processes, authority inspections, project close-out, and handover documentation within Dubai regulatory frameworks.
* Maintain accurate daily site records, progress notes, inspection logs, and discipline-specific data for final turnover.
* Guide inspection staff, conduct direct field reviews, and prepare clear progress reports for project leadership.
* Keep updated records of landscape catalogues, supplier information, product data, plant materials, and project reference documents.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in landscape site supervision, construction management, or delivery of major infrastructure and masterplan projects.
* Strong UAE experience, preferably across residential, mixed-use, or large-scale community developments.
* Practical knowledge of Dubai authority approval processes, NOCs, inspections, and completion requirements.
* Ability to review contractor submissions, assess site conditions, manage RFIs, and coordinate technical decisions during construction.
* Solid understanding of landscape materials, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, softscape works, site furniture, and public realm elements.
* Good knowledge of UAE and GCC suppliers, regional plant availability, nursery standards, and plant performance in Gulf climate conditions.
* Experience with inspection and test plans, risk assessment practices, quality control procedures, and site safety coordination.
* Strong English communication skills with the ability to prepare technical reports and engage confidently with contractors and clients.
* Must be computer literate and comfortable using construction software, digital records, reporting tools, and project documentation systems.
* Candidate must be available and based in the UAE.
