Role Context

The Aftermarket Sales Consultant - Volvo role supports customers after equipment purchase by ensuring they receive the right parts, service support, maintenance contracts, and technical solutions for their fleet. The role helps strengthen customer loyalty, improve equipment uptime, and increase aftermarket sales through regular field visits, structured account coverage, and practical technical advice.

The successful candidate will work closely with service managers, head office teams, and customer decision-makers to prepare quotations, identify service opportunities, promote preventive maintenance contracts, and grow sales across key product categories.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage customer coverage across the assigned sales territory through structured visit plans and call schedules.
* Build strong relationships with construction equipment customers, fleet owners, operators, and business accounts.
* Identify customer needs, buying trends, parts requirements, service concerns, and future aftermarket opportunities.
* Develop new customer accounts through field prospecting, referrals, follow-ups, and market coverage.
* Attend new machine deliveries when required and promote parts and service solutions to customers.
* Promote preventive maintenance contracts, customer service agreements, CareTrack solutions, and related aftermarket offerings.
* Monitor customer parts and service requirements to ensure timely support and proactive communication.
* Achieve assigned sales volume, gross profit, market share, and territory development targets.
* Identify aftermarket revenue opportunities across undercarriage, ground engaging tools, engines, power-train, hydraulic attachments, and related categories.
* Work with service managers to prepare estimates, quotations, and service proposals for customer requirements.
* Coordinate with head office and support teams to provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
* Maintain accurate customer information, machine population records, sales activity updates, and follow-up details in the system.
* Present a professional company image during all customer visits, meetings, and field activities.
* Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, documents, and company property in good condition.
* Report incidents, hazards, and safety concerns according to Health and Safety procedures.
* Follow PPE requirements and maintain personal responsibility for workplace and field safety.
* Maintain high quality standards in all customer communication, sales proposals, and service coordination.
* Promote a right-first-time mindset in customer support, technical advice, and aftermarket service delivery.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate has an Engineering Degree and previous experience as a Field Parts Engineer, Service Sales Representative, Parts Sales Representative, Aftermarket Sales Consultant, or similar customer-facing role in construction equipment, heavy equipment, commercial equipment, or machinery support.

A strong understanding of parts and service operations is important, including technical product knowledge, customer relationship management, service proposals, sales planning, and territory development. Experience in aftermarket sales for construction machinery, heavy equipment fleets, or industrial equipment will be a strong advantage.

The candidate should be confident in communication, negotiation, persuasion, planning, customer follow-up, and commercial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, general computer literacy, and a valid UAE driving license are required.
