The role involves mixing and matching paint colors, ensuring proper application techniques, and adhering to quality assurance and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in an agency workshop and the ability to deliver professional vehicle finishes within allocated timeframes.

Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 3 years in automotive painting, preferably in an agency workshop
Education: Secondary education with a certificate course in mechanical or automotive-related content
Key Responsibilities
- Receive job assignments and work orders from the Bodyshop Supervisor
- Arrange vehicle collection and delivery before and after painting work
- Mix paint to the correct color using computer analysis and apply paint efficiently
- Refer complex painting issues to the Bodyshop Supervisor for resolution
- Request and collect necessary parts, ensuring proper documentation for warranty replacements
- Ensure accurate job time tracking and follow procedures for job clocking
- Report any issues that may cause delays in vehicle delivery
- Perform final checks on vehicle presentation, including resetting equipment and accessories
- Provide a detailed list of damaged parts for insurance-covered repairs
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) regulations
- Maintain and clean tools, work area, and equipment after job completion
- Adhere to quality assurance processes and ensure high standards in all painting tasks
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Supervisor
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in automotive painting and color matching
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality finishes within deadlines
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality assurance in automotive workshops
- Working knowledge of English for job communication and reporting
