Key Responsibilities
* Review tender documents to ensure completeness and clarity before bid preparation
* Coordinate bid initiation meetings and manage clarifications with stakeholders
* Analyze project scope and prepare detailed cost estimates based on specifications
* Verify quantity take-offs and ensure accuracy of cost inputs
* Prepare subcontractor enquiry packages and evaluate vendor responses
* Compile bid documentation and ensure all pricing components are accurate and complete
* Develop indirect cost estimates and support scheduling with resource planning
* Identify potential risks and contribute to mitigation strategies during bid stage
* Present cost estimates for internal review and support final bid submission
* Conduct peer reviews of estimates for accuracy and completeness
* Coordinate handover of project budgets to project management teams
* Maintain cost databases and lessons learned for future estimation improvements
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, MBA is an advantage
* 5 to 6 years of experience in estimation, costing, or project management roles
* Strong understanding of manufacturing or automotive cost structures
* Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines efficiently
* Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams
