Position Overview

The Business Analyst will collaborate with Aftersales Performance, site management, senior management, Brand and Marketing, Finance, Payroll, HR, and Planning teams. Success requires excellent data-handling capabilities, strong stakeholder communication, and advanced experience with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, and Microsoft Office.

Role Context

The Business Analyst


supports management decisions by collecting, validating, analysing, and presenting operational and commercial information. Daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports must be delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines so stakeholders have reliable visibility of business performance.

The position also supports reporting automation, incentive calculations, C4C system adoption, and continuous operational improvement. By analysing performance indicators and system-usage trends, the Business Analyst will identify inefficiencies, emerging risks, and opportunities that can improve productivity, customer service, and aftersales results.

Key Responsibilities

Management Information Reporting

* Prepare and circulate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
* Deliver reports to management and key stakeholders within established deadlines.
* Collect information from relevant systems, departments, and business locations.
* Verify the completeness and accuracy of source data before publishing reports.
* Reconcile inconsistencies and investigate unusual results or missing information.
* Maintain standard reporting formats, definitions, and calculation methods.
* Present complex business information in a clear and practical format.
* Provide supporting explanations for significant movements and performance gaps.
* Maintain organised reporting records for management review and future reference.
* Protect confidential business, employee, payroll, financial, and customer information.
* Respond to authorised ad-hoc reporting requests from management.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy across all submitted reports.

Data Analysis and Business Insights

* Analyse operational, sales, aftersales, financial, and workforce data.
* Convert raw information into meaningful trends, comparisons, and business insights.
* Identify performance gaps, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
* Compare actual results against targets, forecasts, historical results, and agreed indicators.
* Investigate the factors contributing to positive or negative performance movements.
* Conduct detailed analysis to support operational and management decisions.
* Highlight potential business risks and recommend practical corrective actions.
* Develop visual insights that help management understand complex information quickly.
* Evaluate recurring issues and identify their potential commercial or operational impact.

Dashboard Development and Automation

* Develop and maintain business reports and interactive dashboards in Tableau.
* Create clear data visualisations and management dashboards using Power BI.
* Use Alteryx to prepare, combine, validate, and automate complex data workflows.
* Support the Planning Team in automating existing planning documents and reports.
* Replace repetitive manual reporting activities with controlled automated processes.
* Review existing reports and identify opportunities to improve speed and accuracy.
* Ensure automated dashboards use validated sources and consistent calculations.
* Test new reports and automation workflows before business implementation.
* Maintain documentation covering report logic, data sources, calculations, and refresh procedures.
* Troubleshoot reporting errors, broken connections, and inconsistent dashboard results.
* Update dashboards when business structures, requirements, or performance indicators change.
* Improve the usability and visual clarity of management reports.
* Provide guidance to stakeholders on interpreting dashboards and analytical outputs.
* Maintain reliable reporting schedules and data-refresh processes.

Business Performance Coordination

* Schedule monthly performance meetings with channels and key stakeholders.
* Prepare agendas, performance reports, analytical findings, and supporting materials.
* Work with business teams to identify operational pain points and their financial impact.
* Facilitate structured discussions covering performance challenges and improvement priorities.
* Record important decisions, assigned actions, responsible stakeholders, and deadlines.
* Follow up on agreed actions and report progress during subsequent reviews.
* Coordinate closely with the Aftersales Performance Office.
* Liaise with site Aftersales Management and head-office management teams.
* Work with Brand and Marketing teams on relevant performance analysis.
* Coordinate reporting requirements with Finance, Payroll, and HR.
* Build productive working relationships across operational and support departments.
* Escalate significant reporting, data-quality, or performance concerns appropriately.

Sales Incentive Analysis

* Conduct sales incentive simulations in accordance with the approved incentive policy.
* Collect and validate the performance information required for incentive calculations.
* Apply approved targets, achievement measures, eligibility rules, and payment structures.
* Review incentive calculations carefully before submitting results.
* Identify discrepancies that could affect employee payments or business costs.
* Prepare clear incentive breakdowns for Sales, HR, Finance, Payroll, and Accounts.
* Explain incentive calculations and supporting data to relevant stakeholders.
* Complete monthly incentive reviews with accuracy and within agreed deadlines.
* Maintain complete supporting records for incentive simulations and calculations.
* Respond to authorised questions concerning incentive results.
* Support the review of proposed incentive structures through scenario analysis.
* Protect sensitive employee compensation and performance information.
* Help prevent incorrect payments through careful validation and reconciliation.

C4C Training and User Support

* Provide ongoing C4C system training to relevant employees and business teams.
* Guide users on approved processes, workflows, data entry, and reporting practices.
* Reinforce consistent system usage across participating business locations.
* Support new employees and existing users who require refresher training.
* Respond to routine C4C process questions and usage concerns.
* Develop practical guidance and training materials when required.
* Review training participation and assess user adoption.
* Prepare monthly reports covering training activities and outcomes.
* Identify recurring user errors and provide targeted process guidance.
* Coordinate with appropriate system or business teams when technical support is required.
* Promote data accuracy and reliable process adoption throughout the organisation.

C4C Analytics and Process Improvement

* Analyse C4C usage patterns, system activity, and user-adoption trends.
* Identify inconsistent usage, incomplete records, and process-compliance concerns.
* Assess how system inefficiencies may affect reporting and business outcomes.
* Provide clear monthly feedback on identified improvement areas.
* Recommend practical actions to strengthen adoption and data quality.
* Monitor whether agreed corrective actions improve system usage.
* Identify risks caused by inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete system information.
* Work with stakeholders to improve processes and reinforce best practices.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives based on analytical findings.

Data Governance and Quality Control

* Maintain consistency in business definitions, performance measures, and reporting logic.
* Establish validation checks for important reports and analytical outputs.
* Investigate duplicated, incomplete, or inaccurate records.
* Coordinate with data owners to correct source-system issues.
* Maintain appropriate version control for reports and planning documents.
* Restrict sensitive information to authorised users and stakeholders.
* Follow internal policies covering data privacy, confidentiality, and information security.
* Support management reviews and audits by providing complete reporting records.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, data analytics, finance, economics, statistics, information systems, or a related discipline.
* Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
* At least three years of experience within the Automotive industry is preferred.
* Proven experience handling large and complex datasets.
* Practical experience supporting operational and management decisions.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Tableau.
* Proficiency in Power BI for data modelling, visualisation, and business reporting.
