Role Context
The Key Account Manager - Commercial Vehicles will support the growth of Al-Futtaim Industrial Equipment and Commercial Vehicles by identifying new business opportunities, developing customer accounts, and converting prospects into profitable sales. The role contributes directly to market expansion, customer retention, sales pipeline strength, receivables control, and the successful launch and growth of commercial vehicle brands in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and win new commercial vehicle customers across assigned territories, market sectors, and target accounts.
* Build a strong sales pipeline through regular prospecting, customer visits, market outreach, and account development activity.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while protecting revenue, margin, and long-term customer value.
* Develop strong relationships with fleet customers, contractors, logistics companies, transport operators, and business buyers.
* Lead product presentations, vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and solution discussions to support customer decision-making.
* Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry, qualification, quotation, negotiation, documentation, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up.
* Prepare accurate quotations and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
* Monitor receivables and support collection follow-up to keep overdue accounts within agreed limits.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, customer updates, pipeline reports, sales activities, and opportunity tracking.
* Work closely with internal teams to coordinate availability, delivery schedules, documentation, and customer handover.
* Track market activity, competitor offers, pricing movement, and customer demand across light, medium, and heavy-duty truck segments.
* Represent the business professionally during customer meetings, negotiations, and after-sales follow-up.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should have strong commercial vehicle sales experience in the UAE, with a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage key customer relationships in a dealership environment. The role requires a hunter mindset, negotiation strength, resilience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced sales market.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
* Minimum 3 years of commercial vehicle sales experience within a dealership environment.
* UAE truck sales experience is mandatory.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Strong knowledge of light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty trucks.
* Valid UAE driving licence is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to build long-term customer relationships across fleet, logistics, construction, and transport sectors.
