Role Context
The Manager Process Compliance - ERP Finance will work within the Divisional Finance Process and Compliance team to support system governance, process improvement, finance controls, and ERP adoption across automotive operations. The role contributes to business efficiency by helping standardize finance workflows, reduce operational risk, support reporting accuracy, and improve how teams use ERP systems across new vehicles, used vehicles, parts, service, rental, leasing, treasury, tax, and finance integration.
Key Responsibilities
* Support ERP system implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and finance process improvements from a compliance and control perspective.
* Work with Finance, IT, business operations, and process owners to identify, design, and execute practical system and process improvements.
* Help deliver system upgrades, workflow changes, and process enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations.
* Build strong process understanding across automotive business areas including new vehicles, used vehicles, parts, service, rental, leasing, finance integration, treasury, tax, and reporting.
* Review current finance and operational processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risk areas, and opportunities for improvement.
* Recommend process changes that improve efficiency, reduce cost, strengthen compliance, and support better service delivery.
* Ensure business processes and ERP workflows comply with internal policies, procedures, governance standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Develop exception management dashboards, early warning reports, and analytics-based controls to detect process risks and business exceptions.
* Document process requirements, control points, system changes, and business rules clearly for Finance, IT, and operational teams.
* Support SAP inbound and outbound process reviews, data flow checks, finance integration requirements, and reporting improvements.
* Coordinate with stakeholders across UAE and overseas automotive operations to support consistent process adoption.
* Report progress, risks, issues, control gaps, and improvement actions to the Financial Controller and relevant leadership teams.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should have a strong finance process background, ERP exposure, and the ability to connect financial controls with business operations. The role requires analytical thinking, strong documentation skills, stakeholder confidence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving automotive environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in finance processes, ERP support, process improvement, compliance, or business controls.
* At least 2 years of experience supporting SAP or other ERP processes.
* Experience in automotive, retail, or another complex multi-operation business environment is preferred.
* Strong understanding of finance operating systems, ERP processes, and business process controls.
* Knowledge of SAP inbound and outbound processes is preferred.
* Professional qualifications or certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, SAP, Project Management, or Information Systems are an advantage.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business documentation tools.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain process, system, and control requirements clearly.
* Ability to work across Finance, IT, and business teams while managing competing priorities.
