Role Context
The Mechanical Engineer - Technical Support will help improve equipment reliability, service quality, and customer satisfaction by supporting technical diagnosis, maintenance coordination, workshop activities, and customer-facing solutions. The role acts as a practical bridge between engineering knowledge and real operational needs, helping teams resolve issues, document findings, and keep commercial vehicles and machinery performing efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for commercial vehicles, machinery, and equipment through diagnostics, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
* Assist with on-site inspections at workshops, customer locations, and operational sites.
* Work closely with maintenance, operations, and technical teams to support equipment performance, reliability, and service quality.
* Support customer-facing technical activities by providing practical insights, observations, and solution recommendations.
* Prepare technical reports, inspection notes, analysis summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with sales and aftersales teams to support customer requirements, technical queries, and business needs.
* Use engineering tools, systems, and service information to support analysis, fault finding, and problem-solving.
* Assist in reviewing equipment behavior, recurring issues, and performance gaps to help improve service outcomes.
* Learn and apply safe working practices during field visits, workshop activities, and technical support tasks.
* Support the team with data collection, operational follow-up, and technical coordination across different departments.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should be a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate with a genuine interest in automotive systems, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and field-based technical support.
