Robotic Welding Machine Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and integrate robotic welding systems for various production lines
- Program robotic welding machines for MIG, TIG, spot welding, and laser welding operations
- Optimize welding parameters and paths using offline programming tools to enhance efficiency
- Set up, calibrate, and install robotic welding machines, ensuring proper configuration of voltage, amperage, and gas flow
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability
- Monitor product quality, analyze welding defects, and implement corrective actions to improve precision
- Provide technical training and support to production teams on robotic welding operations and maintenance
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotic welding technology and automation to implement process improvements
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with robotic welding systems
- Hands-on experience with robotic programming, welding processes, and automation systems
- Expertise in MIG, TIG, spot welding, and laser welding techniques
- Familiarity with offline programming software, CAD/CAM systems, and PLC programming preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of welding materials, joint designs, and welding standards
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in robotic systems
- Proficiency in integrating robotic welding cells into manufacturing production lines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineering and production teams
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting heavy tools and equipment
- Willingness to operate industrial machinery and robotic arms
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while performing hands-on tasks
