The Sales Manager - Commercial Vehicles role is responsible for leading sales activity for multiple commercial vehicle brands, with a clear focus on revenue growth, gross margin improvement, customer acquisition, and sustainable market presence. The role supports business success by creating practical sales plans, managing territories, coaching sales consultants, tracking market movement, and building relationships with key customers and fleet operators.
The successful candidate will manage daily sales operations, monitor performance, strengthen commercial discipline, and ensure the sales team is equipped with the product knowledge, customer focus, and technical understanding needed to compete in a demanding automotive market.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial vehicle sales operations across assigned brands and customer segments.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability.
* Improve net sales, gross margins, and overall financial performance through disciplined sales execution.
* Develop sales strategies to grow market share for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand the corporate and fleet customer base.
* Assign and manage sales territories to improve market coverage and customer engagement.
* Monitor customer requirements, competitor activity, market trends, and economic indicators.
* Adjust sales plans based on market movement, product demand, pricing pressure, and business opportunities.
* Keep overdue payments within agreed limits and support healthy receivables performance.
* Lead, coach, and motivate sales consultants to achieve individual and team objectives.
* Manage daily sales planning, sales meetings, pipeline reviews, scheduling, and performance follow-up.
* Recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales team members to strengthen department capability.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide practical feedback to improve results.
* Drive product knowledge, technical understanding, and commercial vehicle training across the team.
* Build long-term relationships with key customers, fleet accounts, business partners, and industry contacts.
* Support consultative selling by understanding customer operations, vehicle requirements, and fleet needs.

Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial vehicle sales experience within a UAE dealership environment, with strong exposure to light, medium, and heavy-duty truck sales. Previous experience managing sales teams is essential.
A Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience is required. The candidate should have strong commercial acumen, customer relationship skills, negotiation ability, and a proven record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive automotive market.
The role requires a confident leader who can manage sales consultants, develop customer accounts, understand fleet requirements, monitor profitability, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. A valid UAE driving license is required.
