Position Overview
The Service Advisor acts as the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and professional service journey from vehicle reception to final delivery. This role supports customer satisfaction, workshop productivity, and revenue growth by managing repairs, advising customers, and maintaining strong quality standards within body and paint operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent customer service by following Al-Futtaim service standards and maintaining high customer retention levels
* Ensure a professional customer journey that supports strong Net Promoter Score and customer satisfaction targets
* Manage body and paint service requests from vehicle inspection to repair completion and customer handover
* Advise customers on repair requirements, timelines, pricing, and recommended additional services
* Support workshop profitability by upselling relevant products, repair packages, and automotive services
* Maintain strong quality control standards and target high first response fix rates across service operations
* Coordinate with technicians and workshop teams to ensure timely and accurate repair completion
* Implement 5S workplace standards to maintain organization, safety, and operational efficiency
* Follow business SOPs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
* Continuously improve technical knowledge and service skills through training, certifications, and new technology updates
* Monitor service KPIs and ensure performance standards remain above business targets
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related technical field
* Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience as a Body and Paint Service Advisor in a reputed automotive workshop
* Strong knowledge of body parts, accident repair processes, and general mechanical components related to body and paint work
* Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
* Strong sales and upselling ability within automotive aftersales services
* Good understanding of workshop operations, repair quality standards, and service performance monitoring
* Familiarity with health and safety compliance in automotive service environments
* Professional communication skills with a customer-focused and problem-solving mindset
