Working within the Aftersales Team, the Technician will independently service and repair material handling equipment, identify developing faults, perform component overhauls, and provide reliable technical support that contributes to equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

Overview of the Role
The Technician will work across workshop and field service environments, carrying out planned servicing as well as troubleshooting and repair activities on material handling equipment. A key requirement is the ability to diagnose faults correctly and complete repairs effectively the first time, reducing repeat work and unnecessary equipment downtime.
The role requires independent technical judgment, practical mechanical and electrical knowledge, and disciplined use of service manuals, checklists, and established operating procedures.
What You Will Do
* Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on material handling equipment.
* Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out accurate technical diagnostics.
* Identify the underlying cause of equipment problems and recommend effective repair solutions.
* Complete repair work to a high standard with a strong focus on first-time fix.
* Proactively identify potential equipment issues during servicing and repair work.
* Carry out servicing, repairs, and component overhauls independently.
* Follow technical service manuals, checklists, and established procedures.
* Apply appropriate service practices to improve repair efficiency and productivity.
* Keep the Service Supervisor informed about repair status and job progress.
* Provide workshop-based and field service support according to operational requirements.
Required Skills
* Strong practical experience servicing and repairing material handling equipment.
* Excellent fault-finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic capability.
* Sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and standard operating procedures.
* Strong attention to repair quality and first-time resolution.
* Ability to work independently on servicing, repair, and overhaul assignments.
* Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

* Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.

* Experience with Hangcha equipment is preferred.
