Role Context
This role contributes to the design coordination and execution of electrical systems across airport infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration with multidisciplinary systems while maintaining strict compliance with international aviation and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support electrical engineering delivery across airport terminals, airside, and support facilities
* Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure proper installation and system integration
* Monitor progress of electrical works and provide on-site technical guidance
* Review systems including airfield ground lighting, runway and taxiway lighting, and approach lighting
* Oversee power distribution systems, substations, transformers, generators, and UPS systems
* Review design drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings for compliance
* Ensure integration with civil, mechanical, and ICT systems across projects
* Verify compliance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, IATA, IEC, and IEEE standards
* Review contractor method statements and inspection test plans
* Participate in inspections, audits, and quality checks on-site
* Support testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities
* Ensure complete documentation and system handover compliance
* Coordinate with airport operators, aviation authorities, and project stakeholders
* Participate in technical meetings and project coordination workshops
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 8+ years experience in electrical engineering within infrastructure projects
* Experience in airport or aviation projects preferred
* Strong knowledge of airfield ground lighting systems and power distribution
* Experience in design review and construction supervision
* Ability to manage coordination across multidisciplinary teams
