Position Overview
Mace is seeking an experienced PMO Director to lead project management office functions and project controls for a landmark airport development in Saudi Arabia, designed to become a global aviation benchmark and handle 120 million passengers by 2030. This role is critical to delivering a digitally advanced, high-performing PMO that ensures governance, risk management, and operational excellence across the entire programme.

What You’ll Do
* Lead the PMO and project controls strategy, ensuring robust frameworks and governance across the programme.
* Champion digital integration and data-driven solutions for PMO functions.
* Drive performance improvement and ensure compliance with ISO and global best practices.
* Oversee risk, schedule, cost, and assurance processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
* Act as the trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making at executive levels.
* Mentor and develop PMO and planning teams, creating a culture of high performance and innovation.
* Implement advanced tools and dashboards for performance monitoring and strategic reporting.
* Foster strong client relationships, ensuring proactive communication and value-driven delivery.
* Support sustainability objectives, integrating carbon-conscious practices into PMO operations.
Ideal Profile
* Degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
* Proven track record in establishing and managing PMO functions for large-scale programmes.
* Strong Middle East experience with eligibility for Saudi visa and client approvals.
* In-depth expertise in project controls, assurance, and governance systems.
* Ability to challenge assumptions and present robust data-driven insights to senior leadership.
* Advanced proficiency in PMO tools and digital platforms.
