What Does a Safety and Quality Coordinator Do?
A Safety and Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining safety compliance, promoting best practices, and supporting the continuous improvement of safety systems across all aviation services. This includes processing safety reports, performing audits, assisting in safety training, and supporting the implementation of safety and quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process internal safety reports and track mitigation actions to ensure closure and compliance
- Conduct on-site audits and inspections to monitor safety standards and identify areas for improvement
- Deliver safety training sessions to employees across all departments
- Assist in the review and update of safety-related documentation and manuals
- Support safety and quality meetings by preparing presentations and drafting meeting minutes
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with DCAF teams to promote a safety-first culture
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Safety and Quality Manager
What Skills and Experience Are Needed for This Role in Dubai?
Education and Certifications:
- High School Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Valid and unrestricted UAE driving license
Experience:
- Prior experience in aviation safety management or quality assurance
- Familiarity with IQSMS (Integrated Quality and Safety Management System) and WebManuals is an advantage
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) within aviation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
