What You’ll Do
* Develop and oversee the accounting and tax strategy in alignment with FAB’s financial objectives and regulatory landscape
* Maintain complete and accurate accounting records while ensuring integrity across financial systems and reporting structures
* Ensure compliance with all applicable UAE tax regulations and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
* Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, regulatory submissions, and investor-ready annual reports
* Manage internal audits, support external audit requests, and resolve identified issues efficiently
* Provide senior management with financial insights, analysis, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
* Monitor and implement changes in tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
* Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to align accounting and finance strategies across departments
* Oversee budgeting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA, ACCA, or similar certification preferred)
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, and taxation within the banking or financial services sector
* Strong technical knowledge of local and international tax compliance, IFRS, and financial controls
* Proven experience in audit support, risk mitigation, and financial planning
* Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present financial data to senior stakeholders
* Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools
